Alexander

Neurodivergence, Men, Anxiety, LGBTQIA+, ADHD

Alexander shows up to therapy with warmth, relatability, and a genuine desire to understand the person sitting across from him. He supports adults, young adults, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, life transitions, school or work stress, and the growing pressure of being human in a fast-changing world.

Alexander works with LGBTQIA+ clients, including men navigating periods of transition, self-reflection, sexual concerns, and relational stress, particularly those who may not have had many spaces where they felt safe to speak openly. He also supports individuals who identify as neurodivergent, including ADHD and OCD, as well as those who are newly exploring or making sense of their neurodivergence from late adolescence through early adulthood and later in life. He understands how identity, nervous system differences, and lived experience often intersect, and how being misunderstood, masked, or minimized can take a real emotional toll. Clients are met with curiosity, not assumptions, and are given room to speak, explore, and breathe without needing to explain or defend who they are.

Alex believes people don’t heal by being told who they are; they heal by being seen, supported, and invited into their own growth. His work is grounded in a person-centered approach, using Cognitive Behavioral interventions to help clients make sense of their thoughts, feelings, and patterns. He holds a steady, encouraging presence while guiding clients toward insight, emotional regulation, and confidence in their ability to move forward.

In session, Alex is collaborative, grounded, and easy to open up to. His goal is to make therapy feel like partnership, not performance. Together, clients explore challenges, build healthier coping skills, and uncover strengths that may have been overlooked or overshadowed by stress.

At the heart of Alex’s work is the belief that people deserve a space where they can be authentic, supported, and understood. Growth can be hard, but it doesn’t always have to be heavy, and moments of laughter are welcome along the way.
