Grief, Loss, and Family Healing

I am a collaborative and supportive therapist who believes deeply in the healing power of being seen, heard, and understood. Both my professional training and personal experiences with loss have shaped my passion for supporting individuals navigating grief, complicated grief, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with individuals coping with many forms of loss, including the death of a loved one, relationship and family rupture, job or career loss, identity shifts, and other significant life changes.

I previously worked in an established hospice setting and hold a certificate in bereavement facilitation, which informs my compassionate and grounded approach to grief work. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I support individuals from all walks of life who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, hopelessness, trauma recovery, family conflict, and situational stressors. I also work with clients navigating family repair, relational strain, and the complex emotions that often accompany loss within family systems.

My therapeutic style is strength-based and solution-focused, integrating approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. Our work together centers on understanding your unique story and the experiences that have brought you to therapy. I carefully explore past and present challenges that may be impacting your current concerns, and we shape each session around your goals, moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive for you.

I strive to meet clients where they are and to create a space rooted in trust, safety, and collaboration. I tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. By building upon existing strengths and supports, I believe clients are capable of resilience, growth, and meaningful healing.
